It all started on the second day that I was back in Singapore. En en was having rashes on his backside due to the hot weather lately. It was pretty bad that I decided not to let him wear any diaper while he is not sleeping. And it also dawned on me that this is the chance to start toilet training for him. Therefore, on the very first day, I was practically busy bringing him to the toilet everynow and then so as to make sure he doesn't anyhow pee in the house (which he did twice). Then, on the 2nd day, he already knew how to tell me when he need to pee/shit. And on the 3rd day, his diaper remained dry while we were out the whole afternoon!
I am very very happy that his toilet training period is such a quick and smooth one! I really think that it's very important to only start toilet training when u gauge that ur child is ready. No point starting way too early when he/she is still not ready and then end up getting really frustrated. I still remembered that I wanted to actually start toilet training for him last summer (when he was only less than 2) but then after a few days I felt that he wasn't ready and so I gave up in the end. And then came winter it was too cold for toilet training. So i have to wait till this summer and voila~~~ it's the right time for him!
It has been a more than a week now and he is just doing great! Well done baby!
