I find that preparing and feeding food to a baby is one challenging task.
Firstly, u must know what the baby can or cannot eat at his age. I learnt that egg white has to wait after he's 1 yr old.
Secondly, u need to make sure the food is swallow-able for the baby - that means u must either puree them or chopped them up into tiny miny pieces.
Thirdly, u must have LOTS and LOTS of patience when feeding them. Sometimes, it's not that they are not interested in the food, but just that they are more interested in playing. NEVER force them to eat. Try another time. (i confess: i almost flared up several times......)
Currently @ 9 months, BB En Yu has proudly conquered the following food items, other than his staple - formula milk:
rice cereal
bread
biscuits
fish porridge
pork porridge
chicken porridge
silverfish(or ikan bilis) porridge
carrots
pumpkin
spinach
tofu
potato
banana
papaya
pear
