Exactly 4 months after my wedding

Was browsing April's blog earlier and realized Kayla mei mei is 4 mths old today. Well, that reminded me it has been 4 mths since my wedding day... Yes, Kayla was borned on the day i got married ^^ Time flies! Have been coping with my new life in Taiwan, my marriage and my pregnancy all at the same time... Life is so full of challenges, isn't it? I think i've done pretty good so far - couldn't have done it without hubby's support.

To hubby:

- know u r busy wif business/work (yah, got to earn $$ for little joe's milk powder & diapers), and still got to care for me . Please take care of ur own health too, don't always sleep soooooo late lah!!

To my family:

- know u all miss me (as much as i misses u all), and please don't worry about me cos' i'm doing fine over here!

My checkup at 36th week

Nowadays, my blog is almost all about my pregnancy ... ^^ Yep, just went for checkup again, 2 weeks since the last one. Everything seems fine, just that doc kind of highlighted that little joe's head is a little big. After further scan and analysis, doc corrected his statement to say that little joe's head is not really THAT big, but rather it is very ROUND... Hmmm, i hope he will not have any problem pOPPing out with his super round head. PRAYING HARD! Little joe is nowing weighing 2720g, up from 2208g 2 weeks back, but the thing is, there is no change in my overall weight...What happened? Does it mean 'i' lost weight? Everyone (from my friends to the salesgirl and some stranger we met while shopping) commented my belly looks small, given that i'm at my 9th month. Anyway, as long as little joe is gaining weight and is healthy, that is most important to me.

Oh, and i've been having braxton hicks contraction rather frequently now, and sometimes it can be a little uncomfortable, but i read that this is normal, as the uterus is getting prepared for the actual labour. It makes me worried if i'm going to deliver anytime... Just another couple of weeks to welcome little joe to this world~ can't believe it's happening SOON!

My checkup at 34th week

Time flies...i'm already @ 34th week now. Went for check-up yesterday, and realized that i've gained another 1.6 kg. Altogether, i've gained almost 10 kg already~~~ Little joe is now weighing at 2208g, up from 1757g 3 weeks ago. During the usual ultrasound scan, we happened to see his face for a few seconds. Doc specifically pointed out his eyes, nose and mouth to us... Looking at the monitor, little joe seems to have pretty big eyes and it's as if he's looking at us ^^ Hmmm, what a strange feeling... another 6 more weeks (or maybe lesser) to gooooo!

Losing zzzzzzzzz

Nowadays, it's getting hard to sleep at night... No matter which side i lie on (left or right), little joe will not stop kicking. BUT i've had no choice, since lying on my back is ImPoSsIbLe for me, not to mention lying on my stomach la...that is DEFINITELY a NO NO! So, it usually takes me quite a long while (tossing & turning from left to right & vice versa) before i can really fall asleep... Maybe this is nature's way to prepare all mom-to-be when their baby arrives? Which means no more good nights' sleep ... ><

2007 is a year full of wedding bells ringing~~~ Other than myself, among my friends (also my lunch kakis while i'm still in Agilent/Verigy), one couple just got married recently and another couple is getting married soon. What a pity ~ I'm not able to fly back Singapore to attend their wedding (already @8 months now)... so, here's a little something I did for them - scrapblog!
